Since February is the month we celebrate love, and I love a pretty cocktail for just about any occasion, I thought I’d share my three favorite pretty and pink cocktails that are the perfect festive touch for your Valentine’s celebration.
My idea of a wonderful cocktail recipe is simple. One, it must be pretty, and two, it must taste delicious! And bonus points if they are easy to make!
First Up: Giggle Juice
INGREDIENTS:
Lemon Wedge, for rimming the glasses
Sugar, for rimming the glasses
1 ( 750-ML) bottle of Champagne
3 cups- pink lemonade
1- can lemon-lime soda
1 cup of Vodka
2 cups of sliced strawberries
1 lemon, sliced into half-moons
Ice
DIRECTIONS:
Rim the glasses with a lemon wedge and dip in sugar. - This step is so worth it when you see how pretty the drink turns out!
In a large pitcher, stir together Champagne, pink lemonade, soda, vodka, and fruit. Add ice and stir.
Makes 8 servings- Please note they do not call this recipe giggle juice for nothing!
And because I told you I love easy cocktails….

Next Up: Valentine’s Day Margaritas
Okay, in the spirit of 100% disclosure, this cocktail is a very light pink -I don't want to steer you wrong. The color comes from using pink champagne. You could substitute a Moscato for a darker pink.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 cup silver tequila
1/2 cup Triple sec
1 bottle of Pink Champagne
Lime Wedges for rim
Coarse salt for rim
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a large pitcher and stir well.
2. Run lime wedges around rims of glasses and dip in coarse salt
3. Divide margaritas among four glasses garnish with limes and enjoy!
One of my very favorite sights to find cocktail recipes is Delish. My hubby is a huge fan of their recipes, but since I am a terrible cook, I peruse the cocktail recipes instead! Hey, I say go with what you love! :)
Now up next on the hop is someone you are going to LOVE! Meet Suzy from Hook and Hearth who is sharing easy ways to make your Valentine’s Day cozy! Say hello to her for me. :)
