A fresh tabletop tree for the Master Bedroom (and a bonus blog hop Celebrating Christmas)!

Welcome!

Today I am very excited to be sharing my Master Bedroom decked out for Christmas, complete with a fresh tabletop tree! I am also participating with some blogging friends in a blog hop celebrating Christmas, so this post is FILLED with holiday inspiration. This Christmas blog hop is an annual event hosted by my lovely friend Leen at Sand Dollar Lane and if you are visiting from Kippi at home WELCOME!!

Now back to that tabletop tree…..Isn’t it, darling?!? It was also a bargain at our local Christmas tree lot. We paid $7.00 for it. My husband nailed wood on the bottom in an “X” shape, and I placed it into the container with a few medium-sized rocks for stability. Did I mention how wonderful a fresh tree smells in the bedroom??

The tree was pretty naked with lights only too.

I love a Christmas tree in a bedroom. To me, it feels cozy and romantic. I started with a small 5 ft tree a few years ago and really loved it (see it here), but even at that small size, it took a good bit of space, so this tabletop version feels much better.

I really wanted to try to work with the blue and white and wood color pallet I already have in my bedroom. I am all about keeping things simple this year. A big change for this space was moving the bed to the front of the window. I am not sure it will stay, but the snowfall is beautiful to watch from this angle. I am loving the simple peace sign garland. It’s made of little MDF peace signs and strung together with twine.

I always have candles and usually fresh flowers in my bedroom. Small touches that bring so much joy.

When I decorate for the holidays, I like to add lots of cozy textures. This season, I added a flannel duvet set from Boll and Branch in a blue herringbone. The flannel is so soft and warm and bring outs the colors in my rug.

A simple bowl of ornaments and some fresh greenery adds a festive and inexpensive touch.

Trader Joe’s flowers are always a big win! They have gorgeous greenery this time of year too.

That’s it for me and my tabletop Christmas tree. Next up on the Christmas hop is Michelle at Thistle Key Lane. I hope you will visit her and the rest of my fellow bloggers to see all the ways they are decorating to Celebrate Christmas.

Until next time,
